Privacy Policy

1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy
At Davinong, we believe that managing a tournament should be fun, not a data-harvesting exercise. We built this tool for the community, and that means being clear and honest about what we do with your information.
We only collect the data we absolutely need to run your tournament. We don't sell your data, and we never will.
2. What We Collect (and why)
Davinong is designed to be low-barrier. You can start using it without even creating a formal account.
- Tournament Content:We store the names of participants, match scores, and the bracket structures you create. This information is what makes the app work. Since you probably want to share your tournament, this data is public if you share the link.
- Temporary "Shadow" Sessions:When you start a tournament without logging in, we use a small file (a cookie) to remember who you are so you don't lose your work when you refresh the page.
- Technical Basics:Like most websites, we see basic info like your browser type and IP address to help keep the site secure and working correctly.
3. How We Use This Information
We use your data for exactly one thing: providing the tournament management service. We don't use your tournament data for advertising, and we don't track you across other websites.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
If you're using a temporary "shadow" account and stop using the site for a long time, we may eventually clear that data to keep our database lean. If you want your tournament data deleted sooner, just reach out.
5. Have Questions?
Privacy policies can be dense. If you're unsure about how something works or want to know more about your data, please contact us via the support link. We're happy to help.
